New plantings: This weekend and the following, we’ll be putting in peas and potatoes. So come along on Saturday if you feel like gardening. We’ll probably be working a bit on Sunday too. If you have any potatoes, please bring them and we’ll put them in.
Current picking: Its time to give our silverbeet, lettuce, and celery a bit of a rest from our enthusiastic picking, just so that they can recover for a couple of weeks and get strong again.
Seedling preparation for Spring: I am preparing an interesting variety of tomato seedlings to give away so that you can put them in your own garden, that’s the plan for this year: tomatoes and capsicums stay at home and hopefully we’ll be able to barter and exchange seeds when it’s time to harvest.
